World Trade Organization calls applications for WTO Young Professional Program for the year 2022. The WTO Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is a unique opportunity for qualified young professionals up to the age of 32 years, as at 1 January 2022, from eligible developing and least-developed country (LDC) WTO Members, to enhance their knowledge and skills on WTO and international trade issues. The Programme aims to widen the pool of professionals from these countries who can later be more competitive with respect to recruitment in the WTO and/or other regional and international organizations.

General Functions

The selected Young Professional will be placed in a specific Division of the World Trade Organization Secretariat in accordance with the needs and priorities of the Organization; and based on the identified areas of interest of the Young Professional. Each Young Professional may express interest in not more than three areas of WTO work; and in order of preference.

Calling on youths, ages 18 to 24, with a passion for women and gender issues in the Indo-Pacific region to apply for the 3rd SEASAT Youth Camp, to be held on 27-29 July 2021 in Taipei, Taiwan! The SEASAT Youth Camp is jointly organized by the TAEF and the AIT.

The goal of SEASAT Youth Camp is to enrich 40 young people, ages 18 to 24, in their familiarity with their ASEAN, South Asian, and Taiwan neighbours with the hopes of promoting better understanding and cooperation among international youth. In collaboration with the American Institute in Taiwan, the three-day session will expose participants to lectures on contemporary issues affecting the region, cultural and educational tours, seminars, and a crash course on social innovation. The Camp will also double as a networking platform to further connect SEASAT Youth.

Through this fellowship program, tenured faculty (in the rank of professor) at the University of Bonn can invite international postdoctoral fellows for a joint research project on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as set forth by the United Nations in its Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development. The scientists should research and teach together with a professor from the University of Bonn for one or two semesters.
