Summary

Transparency International School on Integrity is an annual state-of-the-art anti-corruption and accountability training for future leaders. Moreover, the upcoming School will take place during 8-14 July 2019 in Vilnius, Lithuania. In addition, the School exposes its participants to the latest developments in the field of anti-corruption and accountability and offers real opportunities to try and implement their ideas in practice.

Furthermore, the School curriculum is presented through a variety of learning modules such as lectures, seminars, training, discussions, field trips, film screenings as well as social events. Also, the program follows a conscious schedule which, as the week goes by, gradually moves away from introductory topics and toward seminars and training aimed to address particular subjects and lets participants acquire new skills. In short, the aim of the program is to leave you inspired and empowered by creating opportunities to learn in small groups as well as through mentoring hours.

Eligibility

Transparency School is for senior students, graduates and young professionals under the age of 35 eager to learn how to stand up against corruption and how to achieve greater transparency in their country. Also, Transparency School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, sex, gender identity, religion, political beliefs, marital, familial or parental status, sexual orientation or any other basis.

Benefits and Outcomes

Transparency School runs in cooperation with Mykolas Romeris Law School. Moreover, upon completion of the course, students receive 6 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits, which only stresses the fact that participants come to the School to learn and will to do the additional preparatory reading before the School starts. Also, the course reading material is published in advance and students are encouraged to get in touch with the School organizers for additional reading recommendations.

Application Deadline

  • With scholarship: The deadline for scholarship applications is 30 April 2020.
  • The deadline for partial scholarship and non-scholarship applications is 20 May 2020.
