The Intergovernmental Affairs Officer (IAO) will be responsible for providing support to the Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC) in the following areas:

• Providing substantive and logistical support to intergovernmental meetings, including the United Nations General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council, and their subsidiary bodies.
• Preparing and coordinating briefing materials for senior officials.
• Organizing and managing outreach activities to Member States and other stakeholders.
• Maintaining and updating databases and records of intergovernmental activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in international relations, public administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in intergovernmental affairs, preferably in the United Nations or other international organizations.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
