Description:

Premise has offices in San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Seattle. The WestCap Group (“WestCap”) is a growth equity firm founded by Laurence A. Tosi, who, together with the WestCap team, have founded, capitalized, and operated tech-enabled, asset-light marketplaces for over 20 years.

Duties:

• Conduct internal and external research to optimize Premise operations and advise client engagements in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Also, contribute to the design and deployment of a wide range of data collection tasks (surveys and observational tasks) with ownership of the user experience and regional context.
• Design, run, and analyze engagement experiments to help build strong Contributor networks.
• Likewise, collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide operational context for improving Contributor network engagement and data collection.
• Additionally, work closely with our on-the-ground support to localize our operations, brainstorm creative tactics for engaging Contributors, and escalate feedback.

Education/Education:

• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of experience, including internships, preferably in international business operations
• Expertise in Sub-Saharan Africa from academic study as well as on-the-ground experience
• Furthermore, fluency in at least one language besides English, preferably French
• Experience with data analysis and an aptitude for data-driven decision making (SQL experience preferred)
• Likewise, proven examples of taking ownership and driving success in ambiguous settings
• Excellent communication skills, including polished written and cross-cultural communication
• Additionally, impeccable attention to detail
• Similarly, eagerness to embrace a wide spectrum of responsibilities and projects
