The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO),  a specialized agency of the United Nations invites applicants for the Internship – Performance Analyst position in Montreal, Canada. This internship Opportunities at ICAO in Canada is located in the Office of the Director ATB and the intern will conduct, under the supervision of the Assistant to Director ATB, research on performance analysis.

Functions/Responsibilities

The successful appointee will perform the following duties

• Conduct a literature review on the rules governing performance.
• Review the estimation methods available to model performance and also outline their advantages and disadvantages.
• Evaluate and recommend an estimation method as well as collect the data required and calibrate the estimation method.
• Furthermore, write a summary report including guidelines on how to use the estimation method.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in a graduate degree program (second-level university degree or higher) in a field of study related to economics, law, commerce, and/or public or business administration at the time of application. However, applicants pursuing studies in countries where the higher education system does not have undergraduate and graduate stages should have a completion certificate of at least four years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution towards the completion of a degree. In addition to that, Strong English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) is necessary. Furthermore, working knowledge of a second language of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) desirable.
