The Global Mobility segment of Walt Disney Company announces an internship opportunity for Global Mobility Graduate Internship, Spring 2020. The Global Mobility organization is responsible for the relocation and immigration needs of Disney talent across the Disney Enterprise.

The Walt Disney Company is an American diversified multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate company in the USA. The company has a headquarter in  Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. The company is widely known as a leader in the American animation industry before diversifying into live-action film production, television, and theme parks.

Roles/Responsibilities

The intern position will be responsible for assisting the International Global Mobility Associate with daily administrative functions related to international business travelers.
In addition to that, the position will do the following tasks in particular

  • Supporting the International Global Mobility Associate in compiling, scanning and maintaining traveler reports, cross-referencing them with various company-wide trackers on a daily basis.
  • Updating immigration trackers.
  • Liaising between international business travelers and work visa service providers, gather necessary documents and prepare visa application letters.
  • Creating, maintaining as well as deactivating traveler records in our relocation/business travel management system, APro.
  • Providing support to various tasks including data entry, reporting, deck preparation, and administrative work.

Basic qualifications

The candidate must have the following specification to be eligible for the Global Mobility Graduate Internship opportunity at Walt Disney Company

  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at the time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program. However, the candidate must be pursuing a graduate degree in Business, Human Resources or a closely related field.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter as well as the ability to multi-task in a highly fluid environment with strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as client service orientation.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. Similarly, the candidate must have the authorization to live and work in the US.

Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months).
