Title: Internship – Global Programme to Accelerate Action to End Child Marriage Child Protection Programme Division

Duties

• Prepare technical reports and inputs for program preparation and documentation ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevancy of information.
• Additionally, provide technical and administrative support throughout all stages of programming processes by, preparing materials/documentations to support program planning, results-based planning (RBM), and monitoring and evaluating the result
• Work closely and collaboratively with internal and external colleagues and partners to collect/analyze/share information on the program implementation issues.
• Keep records of reports and assessments for easy reference and/or to capture and institutionalize lessons learned.
• Participate in program reviews and annual sectoral reviews and prepare minutes/reports on results for follow up action by higher management and other stakeholders.

Duration

This will be a full-time internship and the duration will be for 19 October 2020 – 2 April 2021.

Salary/Payment:

In accordance with UNICEF’s guidelines, interns will be paid a stipend of US $1,700 per month. There is no expectancy of employment at the end of the internship.

Qualifications:

• Education – Currently enrolled or just completed a graduate (Master’s) degree in the area of Global Gender Studies, Development Studies, Human Rights, Global Studies or Social Work;
• Also, excellent academic performance, as demonstrated by academic records;
• Likewise, Language – Fluency in English. Knowledge of another official UN language (French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic or Chinese), or a local language, is an asset.
