Job Description:

The Evaluation Officer will be responsible for conducting independent evaluations of the United Nations Secretariat’s funds and programmes activities. The Evaluation Officer will work as part of a team of evaluators and will be responsible for the following:

• Planning, designing, and conducting evaluations.
• Collecting and analyzing data.
• Writing evaluation reports.
• Presenting evaluation findings to management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in public administration, international relations, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in evaluation, preferably in the United Nations or other international organizations.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
