The Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) leads and inspires the world to achieve its shared vision of zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination, and zero AIDS-related deaths. UNAIDS unites the efforts of 11 UN organizations to works closely with global and national partners towards ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030 as part of the Sustainable Development Goals.
As such, UNAIDS offer internship to involve the next generation in valuing its norms. Further, the internship aims to provide an inside look at the workings of UNAIDS. Moreover, the intern will require to execute responsibilities provided by the respective Supervisor and reflected in the Terms of Reference.
Candidates eligible for the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS internship program will have a profile that aligns to UNAIDS requirement:
The duration of internships can be only of a minimum of six weeks and a maximum of six months. Further, UNAIDS will offer no remuneration of any kind. Nor will it provide any travel or subsistence expenses. Furthermore, Interns must provide proof of adequate health insurance. UNAIDS will provide accident insurance coverage only. However, persons with immediate family members employed by the UNAIDS Secretariat are not eligible for internships.

The Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS UNAIDS accepts the application for the internship until 18 September 2019. UNAIDS will consider the applications invalid should the arrive after the deadline.
