Ford Motor Company announces an internship vacancy for the Manufacturing Engineering position. The internship opportunity is in the Michigan United States. The intern will join the Manufacturing team that manufactures more than 150,000 vehicles daily at 65 facilities worldwide. The position is a unique opportunity to apply engineering skillset in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

The incumbent will work as a Manufacturing Co-Op that will help improve Ford’s manufacturing production system. Specifically, the appointee will contribute to improving Ford’s safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, maintenance and environmental systems. Requirements 

The candidate must have the following qualifications to be eligible for the Manufacturing Engineering Internship at Ford Motor Company

• Must be pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Industrial Engineering; Environmental Engineering; Welding Engineering; Aerospace Engineering; Material Science Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
• Eligible candidates must attend a university with a co-op program with an established co-op relationship with Ford Motor Company. The schools that ford have a partnership with are Kettering University, University of Cincinnati, and the University of Louisville.
• Must be active enrollment status in a recognized university co-op program
• Students must maintain continuous enrollment to be a part of this program as well as must maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the program.
• Similarly, students must be able to work at least 20 hours per week
• Furthermore, students must be available for a minimum 10-12 week co-op assignment and also should be available and willing to do multiple assignments.
