The UNFPA Junior Professional Officer (JPO) Programme is intended to provide on-the-job training for young professionals who wish to obtain practical experience in development assistance. It gives them an opportunity to acquire professional knowledge in population projects in a developing country
The JPO will be under the immediate supervision and guidance of the Human Resources Adviser, Talent Acquisition in the Division for Human Resources. The JPO Focal Point at the UNFPA Headquarters will be advising the JPO for career development and administrative issues.
The HR Analyst will work under the supervision of the Human Resources Adviser, Talent Acquisition, in the delivery and execution of HR services and programmes to managers and staff. The HR Analyst will support matters concerning talent sourcing, recruitment, onboarding and induction, mobility, and other HR operations; and assist to establish procedures and guidance material. The HR Analyst will have access to advice and on-the-job training from specialists in the individual HR occupations in the resolution of on-going non-routine casework.

Education:
Postgraduate university degree in any of the following disciplines: Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, International Development, Economics, Public Administration, Management or other related fields.
Knowledge and Experience:
