Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN) is more than a standard Model UN conference. Serving as a forum in which over 2000 delegates from 60 countries come together to diplomatically debate. Further, propose solutions to the world’s most pressing issues, HNMUN seeks to connect. Not only delegates with this forum but, with each other. The friendships delegates make traverse boundaries, cross cultures, and last longer than a weekend, They share at the conference. Staffed by over 200 undergraduate Harvard students, HNMUN continues to be the oldest, largest, and most prestigious conference of its kind. Further, Their entire staff is excited to continue this legacy as They embark on Their journey to the sixty-sixth session.
This year’s conference features twenty-six committees, all staffed by extraordinarily passionate Directors. From Their renowned Press Corps and Non-Governmental Organizations Programme, their eclectic and fast-paced Specialized Agencies. Further, from the depth of debate and diplomacy in Their General Assemblies to the intimacy and dedication of the Economic and Social Councils and Regional Bodies. Delegates are going to have access to extremely substantive and rewarding debate in diverse committee styles and forms. While committee sessions are important, it is certainly the discussions delegates will have outside the committee room. Additionally, that will define their HNMUN experience. With commitments to social impact and a celebration of diversity, Their partnerships with the Resolution Project. Also, the Miracle Foundation, coupled with Their nightly social events for delegates and advisers provide all HNMUN attendees opportunities.
To apply for the Harvard National Model United Nations 2020, you can do so using Their recently renovated online registration platform, MMBase.
