MadMUN is Madrid Model United Nations which is organized by Schiller International University and Saint Louis University. Further, What makes them unique from other conferences is their unity, despite the many differences our universities have: small and big, focused and diverse, Jesuit and agnostic. Also, these differences aid in creating an international, diverse environment that we hope will provide the perfect setting for fruitful debate.

​Their university level conference is open to all cultures and nationalities and will embrace and encourage the variety of opinions each delegate brings to the table. In addition, they offer 5 dynamic committees in English (UNSC, UNGA, UNESCO, UNWTO) and Spanish (CEPAL). Furthermore, If the candidates are open-minded, hardworking, and ready to learn, you are in the right place. The event will be held from March 20th – 22nd, 2020.

Responsibilities of Chair

The chair has the following Responsibilities

• Write the background guides for their committee within the deadlines and abiding by the structure recommended by the Secretariat
• Correct all position papers, taking plagiarism into consideration
• Motivate and support delegates with positive feedback before, during and after the conference
• Be knowledgeable of the rules of procedure.
• Conduct the committee in a fair and professional manner
• Be neutral towards any institution and/or delegates through the conference
• Act as judges for deciding which delegates deserve awards

Fees

The event has the following fee structure

• Wave 1 Delegate Fee is 60€ and the applicant need to Apply before January 31st, 2020
• Wave 2 Delegate Fee is 65€ and applicant need to Apply before applications close
• Head of Delegation Fee: 50€
• Delegation Fee (less than 10): 55€ per delegate
• Delegation Fee (more than 10): 50€ per delegate
• SLU and SIU Delegate Fee: 30€
• Fee includes 3 lunches, 5 coffee breaks, and access to social events
