OEA MODEL Conference 2020 is an OAS Model which is a simulation of the Organization of American States (OAS) created in order to promote democratic values ​​among the youth of the Hemisphere, through a simulation exercise of the OAS General Assembly. Furthermore, this exercise familiarizes students, professors, and academic institutions with the work of the OAS and
with its Member States, as well as with the Organization’s role as the main political forum of the Hemisphere. Additionally, the OAS simulation is an exercise in which the students represent the diplomats of the OAS Member States and discuss resolutions on the current issues of the Inter-American agenda. Likewise, these Models promote leadership development in young people, as well as negotiation skills, teamwork and conflict resolution. Likewise, the program will conduct from Mar 24 – Mar 27, 2020.

The OAS Model is a simulation of the Organization of American States (OAS) creates with the purpose of promoting
