Applications call for Conquest Startup Accelerator Program 2020

Summary 

Conquest, an initiative by the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, BITS Pilani, is India’s First Student-Run Startup Accelerator. We help the best founders build great businesses and raise money. Moreover, the program includes online mentoring to the 10 most exciting startups from across the country over 6 weeks, connecting them with field experts. Following this, the startups undergo a 10-day mentorship program in Bangalore. In addition to that, the program ends with the Grand Finale where these startups pitch before India’s biggest investment firms and media houses.

Conquest works with both entrepreneurs and teams at the pre-seed stage

• Idea Stage: Aspiring, solo, and even FT-employed founders can use Conquest to validate ideas, build a team, and launch a business.
• Prototype Stage: Entrepreneurs and teams with an initial product can use Conquest to secure advisors, generate revenue, and begin to raise funding.
• Early Company Stage: Established companies at the pre-funding stage can use Conquest to generate traction, scale their business, and raise funding.

Mentoring Sessions

The Top 50 startups get mentored one on one by stalwarts from the entrepreneurial world from different verticals like Customer Acquisition, Product Management, Fundraising, UI/UX, Sales, and Marketing. Moreover, these mentoring sessions are held in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. Startups can choose one of these cities.

Online Mentoring Program

Transcending the boundaries of geography and time, the Top 15 startups then get an opportunity to receive online mentoring over a 6 week period. Moreover, each session revolves around a critical aspect of startup growth, ranging across pitching and fundraising, sales and marketing, product management and other crucial points communicated by the startups themselves

Accelerator Program 

The Top 10 startups move to Bangalore for a 10-day accelerator program where they are provided free accommodation and co-working space. Conquest creates an environment of co-learning that helps startups grow together at an exponential pace. Moreover, the program comprises sessions with successful founders, investment workshops by VC’s and Angels, networking events and a wide array of activities to ensure that startups are ready for any challenge that they confront.

Registrations

Registrations for Conquest are now open and go on till 1st April. Startups can register by filling a simple application form. There is no registration fee. Basically, the shortlisting is based on parameters like the idea, team, progress, understanding of market and competition
