Applications are open for Future Females Business School Greentech Programme 2021, in partnership with the UK-Kenya Tech Hub. This program supports female Kenyan entrepreneurs who are building Greentech businesses and are looking to impact their respective communities/industries.

The UK-Kenya Tech Hub will work in a partnership with Future Females Business School so as to support 30 female-led GreenTech businesses. The program aims to impact early-stage businesses working towards creating entrepreneurial solutions that protect and conserve the environment with technologies that are eco-friendly. Some of these businesses are renewable energy, wastewater recycling, eco-friendly fashion, collection of trash, cleaning products, among others.

Founders who are already working on GreenTech solutions and looking to upskill in a manner that strategically utilizes technology to grow their businesses sustainably are encouraged to apply.

Future Females Business School Greentech Program helps you overcome any self-limiting beliefs, and give you the tools and support you need to successfully start and grow your business.

Applicant Requirements

• Applicants MUST be based in Kenya
• The business MUST be a GreenTech business that solves a problem
• The business MUST impact respective communities/industries

Value of Award

• A 3-month virtual program covering 10 actionable modules.
• Weekly coaching sessions
• Guest feature masterclass with leading industry experts
• Support to scale their businesses

Eligibility

To apply you must be a Kenyan-based female entrepreneur with a GreenTech early-stage startup or business idea and is passionate about creating sustainable yet impactful solutions to society.

Qualifying startups include:

• Waste Management
• Generation of power
• Water management (harvesting, filtering/treatment, and metering)
• Farmer’s Market
• Organic produce & retail
• Green blogs
• Eco-friendly fashion
• Eco-friendly beauty or cleaning products
• Upcycling furniture
• Green app development
• Used bookstore
• Herbal remedy
• Food plant nursery and such other industries.
