Venture for Africa calls application forCOVID-19 Remote Fellowship Program. Venture for Africa looks to bring them together. VFA was created by a team of former colleagues who have seen this challenge first-hand, to provide talent a landing pad in the African startup ecosystem, exposing them to local market nuances, offering expert-led training specific to key roles and introducing them to leading startups looking to hire now.

Venture for Africa offers an immersive, 3-month-experience during which fellows will work on real and impactful projects assigned by high-growth startups in Sub-Saharan Africa while improving their skills and gaining valuable in-market experience.

Role 

Fellows will have an opportunity to apply for a full-time role with our startup partners at the end of the program and will be fast-tracked through ordinary application processes. They will dive in and begin working on real deliverables at startups on the ground in Kenya (our flagship market), who have talent gaps to fill, now. Fellows will also hit the ground running with specific projects assigned by partner startups from the beginning while gaining access to senior executives who will provide feedback on their work.

• Receive a stipend: Receive a stipend for your work for the duration of the program.
• Apply for a full-time role: Following the program, VFA fellows may apply for open full-time roles at participating startups and will be fast-tracked through ordinary application processes.
