Applications are open for the fully funded UN Global Climate Action Awards (COP 26) in Glasgow, Scotland, in November – the most important climate conference since the Paris Agreement was adopted in 2015. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the award program and its efforts to demonstrate that climate action is underway around the world.

The annual award program, run by United Nations Climate Change since 2011, recognizes the world’s most innovative, scalable, and replicable examples of action to tackle climate change. This year’s awards will showcase people and projects taking bold and effective climate action in the areas of climate neutrality, innovative climate finance, and climate leadership.

Applications call for NUTM Scholars Program (NSP) 2021. The NUTM Scholars Program (NSP) is a one-year full-time interdisciplinary postgraduate program in Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Design. During the program, Scholars will learn and study concepts in technology, entrepreneurship and design, management, and leadership. Call for UNESCO WHV 2020-2021 – Let’s Heritage at the Historic City of Ahmedabad. WHV 2020-2021 is a joint campaign, a first in the history of the Initiative, as the implementation of the projects under the WHV 2020 campaign was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Applications are open for the 2021 SDG Fellowship in Germany – Fully Funded. The deadline  of the application is 31st May 2021 and is open to all nationalities.

Through this fellowship program, tenured faculty (in the rank of professor) at the University of Bonn can invite international postdoctoral fellows for a joint research project on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as set forth by the United Nations in its Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development. The scientists should research and teach together with a professor from the University of Bonn for one or two semesters.

Applications are open for the Global UGRAD Exchange Program 2021 in USA – Fully Funded. The deadline for the application is 28th April 2021. Students enrolled in either, a four-year bachelor’s program or a two-year bachelor’s programs are eligible to apply.

In 2010, the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program – Pakistan (Global UGRAD-Pakistan) was launched by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the United States Department of State. The WTO Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is a unique opportunity for qualified young professionals up to the age of 32 years, as at 1 January 2022, from eligible developing and least-developed country (LDC) WTO Members, to enhance their knowledge and skills on WTO and international trade issues. The Programme aims to widen the pool of professionals from these countries who can later be more competitive with respect to recruitment in the WTO and/or other regional and international organizations.
