Applications are open for the 2021 Mastercard Foundation Scholar Program – Fully Funded. The deadline for the program is 15th March 2021. The scholarship is the Online Masters Scholarship.

Benefits of 2021 Mastercard Foundation Scholar Program

The scholarship will cover the complete tuition fees and alittle study stipend to permit for access to high-quality internet. The scholarship is meant to hide three-years of part-time online study.

On top of monetary support, Scholars will participate in activities as a part of the broader Scholars Program with the University of Edinburgh, including regular online workshops with our scholars, online coaching and support, and therefore the opportunity to attend regional scholar-led workshops and events.

Eligibility criteria

  • You must be a graduate or be close to graduate as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar during a Mastercard Foundation partner institution.
  • Applicants must qualify academically for admission to the University of Edinburgh for a relevant degree programme listed above. you’ll generally got to have achieved the equivalent of a UK Second Class (Upper) Bachelors (Hons) degree. you’ll determine more about postgraduate entry requirements for your country or be in-tuned with us at [email protected] .
  • You must be a citizen of an African country (with the exception of Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco & Tunisia), whose personal circumstances would make accepting a web study offer from the University of Edinburgh difficult. Applications from Malawi, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe are particularly welcome.
  • You should demonstrate a diary of leadership and repair within your community and former school/university.
  • You must be ready to present economic circumstances which show you lack financial means to pursue education in your home country or elsewhere
  • Applicants should demonstrate an awareness of online degrees, and be ready to show how they’re going to approach the unique challenges and opportunities provided by online, part-time study.
