University of Toronto Scholarships

The University, its colleges, faculties, and divisions award over 5,000 admission awards that total nearly $25 million and nearly 5,800 in-course awards each year. University has comprehensive award programs that recognize diverse achievements and respond to students’ needs at different levels of study.

Student awards (scholarships and grants) are non-repayable monetary awards issued based on criteria such as merit, financial need, community engagement, leadership, and athletic performance. The University of Toronto offers thousands of student awards worth more than $106 million annually. Student awards may be based on merit (e.g., scholarships), financial-need (e.g., grants), or a combination of both.

University of British Columbia International Award

Four prestigious need-and-merit-based awards are available through UBC’s International Scholars Program. Humber College International Entrance Scholarships

Humber offers scholarship opportunities for select international students. York University International Student Scholarship Program

International students who have an excellent academic record and are admitted to York University are eligible for scholarships worth $60,000 – $100,000 for a four-year degree program.

Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Students at the University of Toronto. The Scholarship will cover tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years.

Ontario Graduate Scholarship

The value of the OGS is $5,000 per session. Thus, awardees may receive $10,000 for two consecutive sessions or $15,000 for three consecutive sessions. In all instances, the awarding graduate unit will contribute to one-third the cost of the total award received by the students. Each scholarship is tenable for one year (i.e., two consecutive or three academic sessions). The value and duration of each OGS award will be determined by the awarding graduate unit and detailed in the offer letter.

Canada Memorial Foundation Scholarship

Full scholarships are available for British postgraduate students to study at any accredited Canadian higher education provider. The Awards, tenable for one year only, will cover airfares, fees, maintenance, accommodations and other allowances. Candidates applying for courses of more than one year may be required to provide assurances that they have sources of additional funding available to them that will enable them to complete the course (These awards are not available for study at a doctoral level).

Students can access the Entrance Awards application on their SquareOne portal, after they have applied for admission.
