Fully Funded Fellowship by UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL)
To support the implementation of the commitments made at CONFINTEA VI, the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) has been offering one-month CONFINTEA Fellowships to key personnel from the UNESCO Member States since 2011.
One of the CONFINTEA Fellows’ chief assignments is to produce a draft proposal for a policy and strategy framework that would lead (preferably after a broad national consultation process) to implementing the Belém Framework for Action in their respective countries.
Fellowships are offered to government officials or representatives of civil society organizations working in key positions in the field of adult learning and education (ALE) in the UNESCO Member States, particularly those in the Global South. UIL seeks geographical (regional and national) and gender balance when awarding CONFINTEA Fellowships.
