Apply for TED Fellowship 2022.  Every year, TED selects a new cohort of TED Fellows to join the program. Applications are accepted during an open application cycle each Summer. Through a rigorous selection process, TED narrows down the thousands of applications to a final cohort. The TED Fellows program is one of the most competitive and highly selective fellowship programs in the world. We choose TED Fellows based on their remarkable achievements, their interest in contributing to a growing community, their kindness and their innovative approach to studying and solving the world’s toughest problems.

Details

To apply, you’ll submit an application online during our open application cycle. Your written application is the primary means for showcasing your work — tell TED what makes your work unique and impactful. Please write clearly for a general audience and assume we know nothing about your field.  TED only accepts applications written in English and does not accept late submissions.

Once TED has received your application, they will start reading. They read every application, and therefore the selection process takes time. You can expect to hear back in 8 months after the application closes. All applicants are notified whether or not they have been selected to join the TED Fellows program.

What the program is looking for?

• TED is looking for the people working on the ground on world-changing ideas — the doers, makers, inventors, advocates, filmmakers and photographers, musicians and artists, educators, scientists, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and human rights activists.
• They are looking for individuals who have a proven track record of great work in their field, with fine character and a good heart. They are also looking for individuals from all disciplines, and who have collaborative, kind personalities.
