BBPA National Scholarship Program 2025 (up to $7,000)

Applications are open for the BBPA National Scholarship Program 2025. The BBPA National Scholarship Program, established in 1986, provides financial assistance to Black Canadian youth pursuing post-secondary education. Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement to reduce financial barriers and support career success.

For over 40 years, the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA) has been dedicated to advancing Black business communities, youth, and professionals across Canada. Through its unwavering commitment to creating equity and opportunity, the BBPA ensures that no one is left behind. Central to this mission is the BBPA National Scholarship Program, which is designed to empower and support the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers. By providing financial assistance and recognition, the program enables students to pursue higher education, unlock their full potential, and thrive wherever their journeys may lead.

Scholarship 

• The BBPA NSP offers several scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $7,000. In addition to financial support, the BBPA NSP offers recipients opportunities for mentorship and networking with Canadian professionals.
• The program also provides recipients with access to various resources and workshops, to support their academic and professional development.

Eligibility for National Scholarship Program

To be eligible for the BBPA Scholarship Program, applicants must:

• Be a Black student who is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person (or have applied for permanent residency or a student/work visa).
• Be enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
• Be between 17 and 30 years old at the start of the academic year (September 2025).

Selection Criteria

The selection process for the BBPA Scholarship Program is rigorous and competitive.
