The University of Cincinnati calls application for Clinical Fellowship in Student Affairs. This is a full-time, 12-month position involving the provision of (2) two Clinical fellows who will participate in individual and group counseling, single-session therapy appointments, crisis response services, outreach, consulting with students, parents, faculty, and staff, and building relationships with campus partners.
Serve temporary appointments, and work under the supervision of a professional mentor who is responsible for the Fellow’s fiscal and intellectual activities. Appointments shall not exceed two (2) years; however, short extensions may be granted when necessary to complete a critical fellowship. The purpose of the Clinical Fellowship is to gain understanding and advanced knowledge of integration and application of the theoretical knowledge from academic training, evaluate strengths and identification of limitations, development and refinement of clinical skills consistent with the particular scope of practice, and advancement from constant supervision to independent practitioner.
