The Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC) is the premier international gathering of investigative and data journalists, held once every two years. This year, the 11th conference will be in Hamburg, Germany, from September 26 to 29. Furthermore, the Global Investigative Journalism Network, Netzwerk Recherche and Interlink Academy are co-hosting the conference.

GIJC19 will feature over 150 exciting panels, workshops, and networking sessions, ranging from cross-border collaboration as well as corruption to advanced data analysis. The conference is offering more than 200 fellowships to both established and young promising journalists in developing and transitioning countries, and for journalists from specific communities such as LGBTQ and indigenous peoples, to participate in this prestigious event.
