The Max Planck Sciences Po Center on Coping with Instability in Market Societies (MaxPo) calls for fully-funded doctoral fellowship in sociology or political science at Sciences Po in France. The Max Planck Sciences Po Center on Coping with Instability in Market Societies (MaxPo) is a Franco-German research center that was jointly founded in 2012 by the Max Planck Society and Sciences Po at the initiative of the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG) in Cologne.

Successful candidates will have a three-year doctoral employment opportunity at MaxPo. The position will be starting in September 2020. MaxPo doctoral fellows will have a fully equipped shared office and full access to the library and research facilities of Sciences Po. In addition to that, additional funds are also available for other necessary purposes including; fieldwork, research stays, and conference travel, subject to the budget and prior approval. The fellowship benefits also include a research stay at the MPIfG in Cologne.
