Drexel University is one of the very reputed private universities in Pennsylvania, United States. Drexel is one of the very few US universities that offer the Global Scholars Program. Each year about 15 very brilliant international students with good leadership potential become a part of the fully funded Global Scholars Program at Drexel University.

The Drexel Global Scholar Program recognizes a select number of incoming international students with exceptional academic achievement and outstanding commitment to global leadership and international community building.

Similarly, the program encourages the active involvement of participants’ invaluable, peer-based mentorship and leadership development opportunities as well as team-building activities and community service.

This program is only for international students. All the international freshmen students applying to Drexel are eligible for this program.

Award Amount

The students who get chosen for this program do not have to pay yearly tuition fees. They are awarded the full-tuition scholarship. However, the scholarship is not applicable to room and board or annual fees.

Moreover, the university expects Drexel Global Scholars to comply fully with freshman housing requirements.
