The King Abdullah offers scholarship opportunities to all admitted students which support individuals for the duration of their graduate studies in Saudi Arabia.

All admitted students receive the benefits of the KAUST Fellowship which support students for the duration of their graduate studies.

Founded in 2009, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is a non-profit private higher education institution located in Thuwal, Makkah. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is a very small coeducational higher education institution.

About the Program

The IDB-KAUST PhD Scholarship Program was established in 2012.That was within the scope of the IDB Merit Scholarship Program and the KAUST PhD Program. Furthermore, under the scholarship program, citizens of IDB member countries are eligible to apply for the scholarship to study at KAUST for a full-time 4-year PhD. Additionally, IDB and KAUST jointly fund the scholarship to award 5 scholarships annually.

Eligibility Criteria for Fully Funded Abdullah University  Scholarships

• Applicant’s age doesn’t exceed (35) years For PhD, and (30) years for Masters.
• Also, applicant must have a university degree from college or university. Also, should have a degree with “very good” at least.
• Likewise, KAUST requires a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the IBT (Internet Based Test) or 6.0 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
• Additionally, applicants must have a record of good Conduct and must be medically fit.
• Also, applicants must not have been dismissed from any university in the kingdom
