Applications for Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship Program 2022 are now open. The Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship for Undergraduates is a highly selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges or universities. Each Cooke Scholar has access to generous financial support for two to three years, college planning support, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to connect with the thriving community of fellow scholars.

Financial Benefits from  Fully Funded-Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship 2022

Each Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship is intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational expenses – including tuition, living expenses, books, and required fees – for the final two to three years necessary to achieve a bachelor’s degree. Awards vary by individual, based on the cost of tuition as well as other grants or scholarships they may receive. This highly competitive scholarship includes:

  • Up to $40,000 per year to attend a four-year accredited undergraduate school.
  • Ability to pursue any area of study.
  • Personal advising about selecting a college and navigating financial aid.
  • Multifaceted advising about how to transition to a four-year college and maximize the student experience.

Eligibility criteria for Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship 2022

Before applying for Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship, applicants must meet the specified criteria:

  • Must plan to graduate from an American high school by the spring of the year.
  • Intend to enroll in a four-year accredited college starting in the fall of the academic year.
  • Earn an unweighted cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  • SAT combined critical reading and mathematical values of 1200 or higher and/or composite ACT points of 26 or more
  • Similarly, demonstrate a significant and unmet financial need as they will consider applicants with a family income of up to $95,000. However, they assume that a majority of fellows can receive a Pell grant.
  • Only students graduating from accredited colleges or universities are eligible for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program.

Application Process:

This year, the Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship application will be submitted using the Common App for Transfer. You will complete the Common App general requirements and it includes things like your contact information as well as the school you attend and your grades, and your activities and honors. You will also invite two teachers to submit recommendations through the Common App. Once you have created a Common App and added the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation as one of your “schools” access the requirements that are specific to the Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. These will include:

  • Eligibility questions
  • Likewise, Several short essays
  • Further, Your college plans and intended major
  • Also, Financial information, including the last three years’ Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) for your household and, if you are under age 25, for your parent(s)/guardian(s)
