The University of British Colombia (UBC) invites scholarships application for fully funded Killam Doctoral program. The Killam Scholarship and Prize Programs were established in memory of Izaak Walton Killam through the Will of his wife, Dorothy Johnston Killam, and through gifts made during her lifetime. The primary purpose of the programs is to support advanced education and research at five Canadian universities and the Canada Council for the Arts.
As the beneficiary of UBC Killam Doctoral Scholarships, applicants will receive an annual stipend of $30,000. Further, the scholarships are available for a maximum of two years. Also, the University of British Columbia will provide travel and research allowance of $2,000 for the duration of the scholarship.
Eligible candidates can apply for the Killam Doctoral scholarship at UBC by completing and submitting the online application form. Moreover, The Killam Scholarships are part of the Affiliated Fellowships-Doctoral award competition. Hence, the candidates must submit the Affiliated Fellowships-Doctoral award competition form.
The University of British Colombia will accept applications for the fully funded Killam Doctoral scholarships until September 17, 2019. The university will not consider applications arriving after the deadline. Hence, the university appeals the interested PhD candidates to apply for the Killam Scholarships at the UBC before the deadline.
