The aim of the Fully Funded Madame Curie Global Fellowship is to promote the international career of researchers by giving them the opportunity to carry out a research project in a research institution of a third state (eg USA, Canada, Japan, …). The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) provide grants for all stages of researchers. Moreover, doctoral candidates or highly experienced researchers can apply for the fellowship. Further, the MSCA fellowship encourage transnational, intersectoral and interdisciplinary mobility. The MSCA enable research-focused organizations (universities, research centers, and companies) to host talented foreign researchers and to create strategic partnerships with leading institutions worldwide.
The Fully Funded Madame Curie Global Fellowship aim to equip researchers with the necessary skills and international experience for a successful career, either in the public or the private sector. The programme responds to the challenges sometimes faced by researchers. Further, it offers them attractive working conditions and the opportunity to move between academic and other settings. Moreover, researchers should actively participate in shaping their training program and developing their professional development within the fellowship. Together with their supervisor, they should create a career development plan that identifies training needs and research content.
