Applications have opened for the Fully Funded Scholarships in the UK. The University of Southampton is providing the scholarship. The deadline for the application is 31st March 2020. The University is providing the scholarship for a Ph.D. degree in the fields of Chemistry, Biology or related discipline.

  •  The University of Southampton invites applications for the Ph.D. Studentship to work on an exciting interdisciplinary project between the Schools of Chemistry and Biological Sciences at the University of Southampton.
  • Furthermore, the project aims at understanding the role of protein conformation at the nanoscale which is essential for early detection, diagnostic screening and the development of preventative therapeutic interventions in diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

Eligibility

The candidates should meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Fully Funded Scholarships in the UK

  • A very good undergraduate degree (at least a UK 2:1 honors degree, or its international equivalent).
  • Also, applicants from EU regions.
  • Additionally, applicants should have or expect to obtain at least an upper second class degree in either Chemistry, Biology or related discipline.

Value of Scholarship

  • Full tuition fees for EU/UK students
  • Also, an enhanced stipend of 15,009 pounds tax-free per annum for up to 3.5 years.
