Fully Funded IOE-ISH Centenary Taught Masters Scholarships for international (non-UK and non-EU) students for 2019-20 are available for application.

The University College London (UCL) in partnership with International Students House (ISH) is offering this UCL Institute of Education (IOE) – International Students House (ISH) Centenary Scholarship. The scholarships are tenable for one academic year, subject to satisfactory progress.

The UCL is a public research university in London, United Kingdom. The university is the third largest university in the United Kingdom by total enrolment, and the largest by postgraduate enrolment. Moreover, it is top-rated in the UK according Times Higher Education, and second according to The Guardian/Research Fortnight for research power. Above all, the university is in 10th position in the QS World University Rankings 2019.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates should:

  • be citizens and residents of a low or middle income country with a GNI not higher than $8000 per capita (as per the World Bank GNI per capita classification tables)
  • have an offer to study a full time Master’s degree in London at the UCL Institute of Education (October 2019 start)
  • not have studied or lived in the UK before.
  • Online courses are not eligible for these scholarships.
  • Furthermore, applicants for a Masters degree who are not holding an offer at the time of the scholarship deadline will not be eligible for this scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits

ISH provides accommodation for a year, while the IOE covers tuition fees.

Applying

  • Firstly, you must apply to UCL for admission.
  • Eligible offer holders will receive an email with details of how to apply for these scholarships.

If you have an offer to study a Masters course at the UCL Institute of Education (October 2019 start) and you have not received this email, but you are from an eligible country, you can contact the university with details of your full name, the name of your Masters course and your student ID number.
