Harvard University calls applications for the STS Fellows Program 2020.

The Program on Science, Technology and Society at Harvard Kennedy School, a leading center for STS research and training, welcomes applications to its non-stipendiary pre- and postdoctoral fellowship program for AY 2018-2019. Predoctoral fellowships are most appropriate for Ph.D. students in STS or closely related fields who have completed their qualifying exams and embarked on dissertation research and writing. Similarly, postdoctoral fellowships are most appropriate for recent Ph.D.’s pursuing research that would benefit from systematic exposure to STS theories and methods.

Furthermore, the Program offers a uniquely collegial environment in which fellows receive intensive training through coursework in STS and become an integral part of the Cambridge-based STS community.

Eligibility 

The candidates must note the following requirements needed for the STS Fellows Program, 2020

• Current Ph.D. students and those who obtained their doctoral degrees recently can apply.
• Additionally, predoctoral fellowships are for Ph.D. students in STS or relevant fields who have completed their qualifying exams and began their dissertation research and writing.
• Furthermore, postdoctoral fellowships are for recent Ph.D.’s conducting research. They are related to STS theories and methods.

Documents Required

• A description of research interests and reasons in 750 words for seeking affiliation with the STS Program
• A CV in 2 pages as well as a supporting letter from an academic advisor that evaluates the academic performance, standing, and qualifications of the applicant.

STS Fellows Program, 2020 is offered for Ph.D., Post Doc degree in the field of Programs offered by the School. This scholarship is open for all nationals. Furthermore, the deadline for sending the application is 31 Jan 2020.  Harvard University provides this scholarship and the value of this scholarship is Partial Funding. However, no stipend is available.
