Applicants are welcome to apply for the HEC Scholarship in Bangladesh 2019-2020 at the Islamic University of Technology at Dhaka (IUT) For the Bachelors, Masters & Doctorate Degree. Further, the Islamic University of Technology at Dhaka scholarships to Pakistani students who intended to enroll themselves in Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. Programs. Since this scholarship is offered by the IUT, hence, NO additional financial responsibility will be on part of the Higher Education Commission Islamabad.

Moreover, international applicants have to apply through their nominating authority of OIC Member States to get Full OIC or Partial OIC Scholarship. Also,  HEC is the Nominating Agency in Pakistan.

Postgraduate Programs

a. Doctor of Philosophy in:

• Civil Engineering

b. Master of Science in:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical and also, Electronic Engineering

II. Bachelor of Science (4-Years Programs) in:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering

Benefit

• These programmes are partially funded, and also, the University will maintain funding to the eligible students as per rule.

Eligibility

• Be a Pakistani/AJK national & permanent resident of Pakistan/AJK. No dual nationality will be accepted.
• Further, the mode of communication in the English language. Certificate of English language proficiency would be an advantage.
• Also, The selected scholar shall be available to start his/her academic studies in the IUT, Bangladesh by the start of the academic year in January 2020.
• Likewise, By the closing date of application, the applicant must hold a minimum of 12 years higher secondary school certificate for Undergraduate Programme, 16 years of education in relevant fields of study for Master’s
• Further, Programme and postgraduate qualification (18 years of education) in the relevant field of study for admission in PhD Programme.
• The applicant shall not currently be availing any other scholarship.
• Applicants must fulfill other requirements set by the IUT, Bangladesh.
• Further, applicants are advised to apply in their respective programme with relevant background.
• Also, application received in irrelevant programmes will not be in consideration.
