Funded Scholarships are available for women pursuing further studies into various majors and degree programs. Here is a list of some of the scholarships:

STAR Scholarship

A woman is eligible to be recommended for the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship provided she:

  • Exhibits excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service and potential for future success
  • Also, has a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • In addition, is in the final academic year (senior year) of her secondary education and  is 20 years of age or under at the end of the calendar year

1000 Dreams Scholarship Fund

A scholarship for women attending high school or a two-year or four-year college/university in the United States. Students must demonstrate financial need. Applications must include two letters of recommendation as well as an essay explaining how the grant would be used. Selection will be based on application contents, and financial need besides information gathered from letter(s) of recommendation.

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship

Zonta International offers up to 32 scholarships of US$2,000 each at the district/region level and six international scholarships in the amount of US$8,000 each. Women of any age, pursuing an accredited business or business-related program who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field, are eligible and also encouraged to apply.

ABC Humane Wildlife Control & Prevention, Inc. Academic Scholarship

ABC Wildlife is introducing a scholarship designed to increase the number of women studying and influencing the future of science, including technology, engineering and math. Moreover, the selected first-prize winner will receive a one-time $1000 educational scholarship. Funds are provided by ABC Wildlife, Inc. Payments issued by ABC Wildlife, Inc. are payable to the student. Furthermore, additional prizes, up to nine (9), may be issued at the discretion of ABC Wildlife, Inc.

Aysen Tunca Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes a female undergraduate student majoring in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) field, excelling in her studies, and demonstrating significant potential. Above all, it is preferably for a student with a disadvantaged economic background or someone who overcame significant obstacles in her life, or someone who is the first person in her family to go to college or major in a STEM field.

BHW Scholarship

The BHW Group announces Women in STEM academic scholarship. It is for women who are pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree and are majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics during the 2019 school year.

OpenStack Scholarship Program

The scholarship is a special program for college women pursuing a career in technology. This HP program awards four female candidates a scholarship of $10,000 USD each, plus mentorship and potential internship possibilities in the future. Also, it pairs students with mentors in their desired OpenStack projects for more hands-on experience and upstream contribution opportunities.
