Heirs Insurance Essay Championship 2025 (₦10.5 Million worth of prizes)

Applications are now open for the Heirs Insurance Essay Championship 2025, an inspiring annual competition aimed at nurturing the intellectual and creative abilities of young Nigerian students. Specifically designed for secondary school students in Junior Secondary School 1 to 3 (JSS1–JSS3), the championship serves as a national platform to showcase the brilliance, originality, and writing talent of children across the country. Organized by Heirs Insurance, this initiative not only encourages academic excellence but also promotes literacy, critical thinking, and self-expression among the next generation of leaders. Through this competition, students are given the opportunity to explore important themes, articulate their ideas confidently, and gain recognition for their efforts. Winners stand the chance to receive exciting prizes, mentorship, and national exposure, making it a valuable and transformative experience for all participants.

Eligibility for Essay Championship

• Open to secondary school students in Nigeria;
• Applicants should be in JSS1 – JSS3.

Adhere strictly to the participation guidelines below, non-compliance will result in disqualification.

• Essays should be typed and not handwritten.
• Word count: Not more than 500 words.
• Students must write their name, school and class on the essay document.
• Document Format: Word document only.
• Students must save their essay document with their full name.
