Who Can Apply?

• Be starting undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in September 2027
• Be nominated by their current high school

Students who are already attending post-secondary studies, or who began post-secondary studies in January 2027, are not eligible for this scholarship.

Students must first be nominated by their high school. After receiving a nomination, they can access the Pearson Scholarship application and complete the required documentation.

How to Apply for the Pearson Scholarship

Students should first contact their school guidance counsellor, principal, or head of school to determine whether their school can participate in the Pearson Scholarship program. The school can nominate only one student per year.

After receiving a nomination, applicants must apply for undergraduate admission to the University of Toronto and then complete the Pearson Scholarship application using the private application link provided by the university.

Important: The University of Toronto warns students about fraudulent scholarship offers and states that it does not work with agencies or educational agents to recruit Pearson Scholarship applicants. Students should use the university’s official website and application channels when applying.
