Candidates who wish to be considered for the scholarship must first apply for an eligible Master’s program at Mälardalen University, with Mälardalen University as their first choice university. In addition, the application fee must have been paid on time.
The scholarship is for especially qualified students coming from countries outside of EU/EEA/Switzerland. However, the scholarship is not open for students from the 12 countries with which Sweden has long-term development cooperation, namely, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.
