Applications are now open for the prestigious McCall MacBain Scholarships 2027 at McGill University in Canada. Recognized as Canada’s largest leadership-based scholarship program for graduate studies, the scholarship supports outstanding students who demonstrate leadership potential, community engagement, entrepreneurial spirit, academic excellence, and a commitment to creating positive change.

Each year, up to 30 full scholarships and more than 100 additional awards are offered to exceptional candidates from Canada and around the world. Scholars pursue eligible master’s or professional degree programs at McGill University while participating in an intensive leadership development program, mentorship opportunities, and interdisciplinary learning experiences.

Application Timeline

June – September 2026

Submit the McCall MacBain Scholarship application. Two reference forms are required. The scholarship application is separate from McGill University admissions.

October – December 2026

Apply to eligible McGill graduate programs.

October – December 2026

Selected semi-finalists participate in regional interviews. More than 250 candidates are expected to be invited.

March 2027

Approximately 85 finalists will be invited to final interviews in Montreal. Travel expenses for finalists are covered.

September 2027

Up to 30 McCall MacBain Scholars begin their studies at McGill University.
