The 2024 Medical School Scholarships at Ross University School of Medicine in USA is open to Citizens or permanent residents of countries other than the United States or Canada. The award seeks to provide tuition assistance to citizens or permanent residents of countries outside the United States and Canada, recognizing the diverse talents and contributions of international students to the medical community. By offering financial support, the program aims to attract highly qualified candidates to the MD program at RUSM, fostering a richly diverse and globally-minded learning environment.
Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) is a well-established institution that has been shaping future physicians for over 40 years. Located in the Caribbean, RUSM offers a pathway for students who aspire to practice medicine but face challenges in gaining admission to U.S. medical schools due to increasing competitiveness. RUSM provides a comprehensive medical education, including a Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) program and a combined MD/MPH degree in partnership with Chamberlain University College of Health Professions.
Benefits
The International Scholar Award provides tuition assistance totaling $100,000 over ten semesters, supporting students enrolled in Ross University School of Medicine’s MD program.
Must provide proof of citizenship or permanent resident status in a country other than the United States or Canada.
Ineligible applicants include U.S. citizens, U.S. dual citizenship holders, U.S. permanent residents, Canadian citizens, Canadian dual citizenship holders, and Canadian permanent residents.
Not applicable to students who receive the Canadian Scholars Award, Canadian Housing Grant, or Ross Scholar Award.
Medical Education Readiness Program students advancing to RUSM for the first semester are ineligible.
