Mellon Post-Doctoral at Wesleyan University in the United States of America. Wesleyan University invites applications for an Andrew W. Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellowship in African American Studies beginning July 1, 2021. It seeks candidates with substantive research and teaching interests in Black Ecologies, geographies, disability studies, queer studies, and/or environmental studies.

The successful candidate will offer courses originating in the African American Studies Department. The fellowship includes limited teaching duties and opportunities for scholarly research and professional development. Renewable for a second year subject to performance.

Requirements

Ph.D. is required in a social science field including African American Studies, Africana Studies, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, or Political Science, and other social science and interdisciplinary fields.
