NLNG Post-Primary Scholarship Scheme (PPSS) 2025

The Post Primary Scholarship Scheme (PPSS), established by Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), is designed to support high-performing Basic Six pupils from public primary schools in Rivers State, with a particular focus on indigene students from NLNG’s host communities. As part of NLNG’s broader commitment to social investment in education, the PPSS aims to bridge the gap in access to quality secondary education for students from underserved backgrounds. By covering essential educational expenses, the scheme not only eases the financial burden on families but also empowers young learners with the opportunity to excel academically and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Eligibility for Scholarship Scheme

• Applicant must be a Basic Six pupil in a public primary school in Rivers State.
• Only for indigene pupils of NLNG host communities.
• Age must not be below 10 years and not exceed 12 years.
• Applicants must not be beneficiaries of other awards or related to NLNG staff.

Application

Required documents include:

• First, second, and third term results for Basic 4, 5, and 6
• A National Population Commission issued birth certificate
• An attestation letter stamped and signed by the headmaster/headmistress of your current school.
• An indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or Community Chief.
• A Local Government Area (LGA) identification letter.
• A recent passport photograph (no glasses, not older than 3 months).

In addition, applicants must secure provisional admission to one of the partner secondary schools. Check newspapers and NLNG social media pages for the current list of partner secondary schools.
