PhD scholars who successfully pass the qualifying examination may also be eligible for an additional stipend of up to S$500 per month, subject to satisfactory academic progress. International scholarship holders are required to participate in the Graduate Assistantship Programme (GAP), which includes teaching or laboratory supervision duties.
