Dean’s Excellence in Science Ph.D. Scholarships at the University of Western Australia. The Faculty of Science at the University of Western Australia is offering few prestigious postgraduate research scholarships to academically outstanding international as well as domestic students wishing to undertake a research doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in the Faculty of Science. International students must meet the eligibility requirements for International Research Training Program scholarships (RTP) are eligible for this scholarship. In addition to that, this Ph.D. Scholarships at the University of Western Australia are also open to the domestic students who meet the eligibility requirements for Research Training Program scholarships (RTP).

Scholarship value 

The Dean’s Excellence in Science Ph.D. Scholarships is a fully-funded scholarship which covers the following things

• Full Tuition fees of the course.
• A stipend living allowance of $40,000 per annum.
• Research travel/conference allowance of $5000 per annum as well as research operating and submission costs allowance of $5000 per annum.
• Furthermore, overseas student single health cover (for international students).

Selection Criteria

The selection for a Dean’s Excellence in Science Ph.D. Scholarship is a merit-based and highly competitive process. Moreover, the following factors are considered while making the decision for the scholarship recipient

• Demonstrated academic excellence through current studies
• Demonstrated high quality, innovative research capacity
• English Language achievement
• Applications will be reviewed and final selections decided by a committee comprising the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Science, and a minimum of two Heads of School and academic staff.
