The Mood and Cognition in Aging (MACA Lab), directed by Dr. Sara Weisenbach at Stony Brook University is hiring a postdoctoral scholar for a two-year research fellowship, renewable dependent on availability of funds.
The fellow will be paid through NIH grant(s) related to depression, dementia, trauma, and Mild Cognitive Impairment. All funded studies involve neuropsychological assessment and functional MRI, in addition to other measures, such as psychophysiology and Ecological Momentary Assessment. The scholar will work closely with other lab members, including faculty, study coordinators, and graduate and undergraduate students. Part-time remote work is feasible for this position, though the fellow will need to be on-site regularly.
