Postdoctoral Fellowship position available at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Radiation Oncology/RadCaBio at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. The primary purpose of the Post-doctoral Fellow position is to independently conduct breast and ovarian cancer research and to analyze experiments relative to the understanding of oncogenic signaling and response to cancer therapies.
The lab at Rutgers Cancer Institute leverages a number of experimental approaches including RNA sequencing (RNAseq), gene expression microarrays, DNA whole-exome sequencing, DNA copy number analysis, proteomics, cell/tissue culture, and xenograft mouse modelsto address these questions. The candidate will have the opportunity to join and grow a highly translational laboratory that seeks to identify underlying mechanisms of tumorigenesis and translate these findings into improved personalized therapeutic strategies for the treatment of breast and ovarian cancer.
