Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellowship position for the Child Health Institute at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Postdoc will be responsible for the design, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of experiments regarding the study of the molecular mechanism on the regulation of synaptic transmission in the mammalian brain and human neurons derived from human tissue.
The applicant should have a strong background in neuroscience and/or cell biology and be able to perform molecular, cellular and/or electrophysiological experiments. In addition, the Postdoc will participate in lab meetings, research in progress seminars, prepare manuscripts and grant applications, and will also be expected to apply for support via various fellowship opportunities.
