The University of Hong Kong Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research within the Faculty of Education calls application for Postdoctoral Fellowship.

Moreover, the appointee will work closely with the Principal Investigators to conduct research under their supervision in a predominantly independent manner and pursue investigations on the teaching and learning of mathematics and Chinese language, and other related research studies. He/She will also work mainly on several longitudinal and intervention studies of Chinese children’s mathematical and reading development, being responsible for

• Data analysis and interpretation.
• Preparation for publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Research design and development and project management.

Qualifications 

Applicants should possess to be eligible for Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Hong Kong

• A Ph.D. degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science or a relevant field; preferably with research experience in reading and mathematical learning and development.
• Solid statistical and computing skills such as structural equation modeling and growth curve modeling, with experience in using statistical software such as R, Mplus, SAS, and Lisrel.
• Relevant scholarly publications.
• The ability to communicate effectively in writing and in oral presentations in both Chinese and English.
