RBC Women in Cleantech Accelerator 2024-2026
To solve the world’s climate challenges, we need more than just good ideas. We need diversity of thought to deliver meaningful impact. This means women and individuals from underrepresented communities, more than ever, need to be part of the solution. The RBC Women in Cleantech (WIC) Accelerator, powered by MaRS, is part of the answer.
The RBC Women in Cleantech Accelerator recruits 7-10 outstanding women entrepreneurs for a two-year program that focuses on advancing their breakthrough ideas into market-ready cleantech products with the potential for global impact. The program is guided by principles of diversity, equity and inclusion, and as well as a commitment to the planet.
Program objectives
The RBC Women in Cleantech Accelerator has five main objectives:
- Seek out the most-promising women entrepreneurs, representative of Canada’s strong diversity.
- Enable their dedication to the mission.
- Establish a community of women founders to share resources, advice and support, and celebrate successes and overcome challenges.
- Support success through mentorship, educational programming and access to market intelligence.
- Make timely connections to investors and corporate partners.

Eligibility for Women in Cleantech Accelerator
- Open to woman-identifying and/or non-binary leaders who are working to commercialize a cleantech innovation with potential for global impact.
- You are the leader of a business that is registered as a Canadian corporation.
- You are looking to join a two-year intensive program to help accelerate the growth of your company.
